The Lodge is a beautifully restored home that hosts 2 king suites with private baths, large gathering kitchen, dining for 14, game table, conversation corner, living room with a fireplace and large screen television.

Upstairs are 2 more queen suites and a bunk room with 6 twin beds and room for sleeping bags with a dedicated private bath. The tall ceilings and large windows provide scenic views from every room.

Off the front entrance is a large patio for outdoor dining, parties, meetings, and receptions. It easily accommodates 100 people with a grassy lawn right down to the water.

The House sits on the highest part of House Island where the views are so vast you can see 100 miles to Mount Washington in New Hampshire.

This restored colonial invites you in with a grand promenade of landscaping up to a lovely sitting porch for dining, grilling and relaxation. Inside is a family room with dining for 8, fireplace, TV and water views from every window. The pantry leads to a cozy kitchen with all the convenience of modern appliances.

Many consider the upstairs king suite the best bedroom on House Island because of the walk out deck and views of the grounds, the surrounding Islands, and Casco Bay.

Beyond spectacular is an appropriate description of the views.

The primary full bedroom shares a bathroom with a bunk room in the rear of this nautically themed cottage. The front of the cottage houses a large porch and patio area with grill to gather and relax after a walk around The Lane or a visit to the beach. The views from every room are fabulous and the high ceilings provide a sense of home, tranquility and comfort.
